This Barker Ellis silver plated on copper 12\" gallery/drinks tray is certainly stunning. It could be easily mistaken as silver as the silver plating is certainly of an extremely high standard. It is marked on the base with the hallmark.
It is approximately 12 inches as when measuring it does seem to be slightly larger.
It does have some scratches on the top from use over the years although it has yet to show copper through besides on the pattern. Where the pattern stands up you can see some copper. It certainly does not take away from the look of the tray. In fact in my opinion it actually adds some character and makes the pattern stand out more.
The only reason for selling it is that we don\'t use it much anymore and have recently bought one which is much smaller and easier to store.
Whoever does by this I\'m sure wont be disappointed as when its shiny it really does stand out and looks absolutely fantastic.
