Bass Recorder In F Denner Model By Conrad Mollenhauer :
"Denner" Bass Recorder in F by ConradMollenhauer
This is a beautiful dark stained pearwood (birnbaum)bass recorder by ConradMollenhauer. It has been used in recorder consorts as well as mixed instrument or "broken" consorts. It plays very well with other instruments and adds a wonderful fullness provided by a bass flute voice. It has excellent intonation, pitched at A=440.Baroque fingering. The keywork includes brass keys on the front B and C tone holes as well as low F and F#. There are two bocals, one long for shorter reach players and one short for direct blow. It can even be played without the cap for even greater tone control. There is also a brass thumb rest with eyelet for the neck strap. Accessories include neck strap, swab, cork grease and original Mollenhauer paperwork (which contains a fingering chart). Overall length of this recorder is 37.5". The case is 20" x 10" x 3.75".
The Denner model Mollenhauer instruments are suitable for demanding players of both solo and consort work. The design concept is based on late baroque construction principles along with consideration for modern requirements concerning sound, attack and pitch.
I have been the sole owner of this recorder and have take excellent care of it.It has served me well, but I no longer play and so am selling. My loss is your gain! But, I prefer my instruments be played and enjoyed.
