CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT+ /nr MINT

The all important ‘black gold’ labels on this UK 1st pressing are truly superb and retain virtually all of their shop freshness. Side one label is virtually perfect and close to its factory condition with absolutely no signs of wear to the gold lettering or evidence of any spindle trails. Side two has some very light spindle wear to the centre hole however the gold lettering is unworn. Now extremely tough to find labels in this investment condition.

Audio: EXCELLENT+

A superb sounding copy with all the power of a black gold UK 1st pressing with hardly any deterioration to the music signals. With the exception of two very faint ticks during a ‘Taste of Honey’ the album plays through without fault. The record does not jump or stick.

Visual: VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT-

This is a well looked after disc and very tough to find in this condition. It still retains a nice overall sheen. There are some surface marks and the occasional light scuff visible in strong daylight but none of these marks are feelable or interfere with the audio. The heavy duty disc lies 100% flat on the turntable.

Cover

EXCELLENT +

The record comes in its original E J Day cover and still retains much of its original shop freshness. Incredibly difficult to find in this condition. The front panel has retained its high gloss laminate and remarkably has no thumbnail creasing at all. There is however some minor wear to the bottom right corner. The rear panel is in superb condition with no writing or stain marks. All flipbacks are intact as is the spine. A true rarity in this condition.

Inner-sleeve EXCELLENT +

Clean & correct with just a touch of light storage/handling creasing.
