For sale is beautiful vintage tea pot and two tea cups. We picked this set up recently at an estate sale of an elderly couple. All three pieces are marked Made In Japan and the owners had a handwritten note inside the tea pot. The note indicates that the previous owner purchased this set in the 1930s in Japan. We have included a picture of the note for you to see.

This set has a hand painted floral design with green edging and a bamboo handle. It has a craquelure finish which is typical of Satsuma pottery.

The tea potmeasures 4 1/4\" tall without the lid in place, 4 3/4\" tall with the lid in place and 4 7/8\" diameter.

Each teacup stands 3\" and is 2 5/8\" diameter at the rim.
