Singer 99K - Fully Serviced - Runs Like a Dream- Sews Leather!

This beautiful Singer 99K hand operated sewing machine is in good condition, has been fully serviced and runs like a dream!

Although the machine shows some minor, use related wear including some small marks to the enamel finish at the top and side of the machine and a slight bend to the gold effect Singer badge (detailed in photographs), it has an excellent shine to its black finish and is overall aesthetically in good condition. The decals are in lovely condition, again showing only very light, commensurate, use related wear.

It comes in its original bentwood, veneered oak case which is in great order, structurally sound with only the odd few expected use related marks including a very small unobtrusive 'ding' to one corner. The original key to the case is included and the lock is in full working order.

Beautiful, Straight Stitch

Following servicing, the machine up for sale was tested on a range of thick fabrics and materials including leather and it produces a wonderfully straight stitch.

Its size, versatility and ability to sew through thick materials such as sails, leather and thick fabric would make this wonderful machine a fantastic investment for a small business or cottage industry.

The machine up for sale here was produced in Clydebank, Scotland in 1933 and carries the serial number Y9161533.

The 99K is made from cast iron, and is the smaller, more versatile, 3/4 size version of its otherwise identical 66K cousin. This compact beauty is exquisitly designed and has been engineered to keep on working faithfully for generations.

When paying by cheque, please note that items will only be dispatched after payment has fully cleared; this can take up to seven working days. We are able to post both within the UK and internationally unless otherwise stated and offer a range of postage options to suit your requirements. For heavier items we use a courier comparison site which means we can find the most cost effective postage option in order to deliver your item and will reflect this in the item listing. We do not seek to profit from postage and packaging costs so after the delivery cost and cost of packaging, if we mistakenly over estimate charges, we will always refund the difference via the original payment method within forty-eight hours. All items are shipped within two working days and email confirmation is then sent out.

We want you to be as delighted and excited with your purchase as we are about providing it. We always endeavour to make the information on our items as accurate as possible. If you do feel that we have made a mistake, we will do everything within our power to rectify the situation with speed and integrity. Please contact us before leaving response to allow us the opportunity to put things right. Returns are accepted where the item has been described inaccurately. In this instance the item should be returned within 30 days of the sale ending by recorded/traceable delivery and a full refund including the original postage costs will be issued within forty-eight hours of receipt. It is with regret that we are unable to refund return postage costs or if the item has not been returned via recorded delivery. All items are insured for loss and damage to their full value. When an item is damaged, please return it to us in its original packaging via recorded/traceable post so that we can begin the claims process. As soon as the item is received, we will issue a refund for the sale cost plus the original postage costs. Where an item is lost in transit, in line with the carrier's terms and conditions, we can only begin a claim 21 days after dispatch. We will keep in touch with you up to the point of delivery but if your item still hasn't arrived three weeks after it has been marked as dispatched, please contact us so that we can begin the claims process and arrange a refund.
