Exquisite! 1973 Jaeger LeCoultre ATMOS Round Dial Mantel Clock- Working!

ITEM DESCRIPTION

Offered here is an exquisite and fully functioning early 1970's Jaeger LeCoultre *528-8* ATMOS Round Dial Mantel Clock, serial number 395,030. *Note: Any reflections and glare you see on the finish are just background & sun reflections and not wear. Sorry about the extra glare it was just that time of day, these are so reflective, they show everything! The mint 15 jewel Jaeger LeCoultre signed movement (528) has just been fully disassembled & cleaned. It's been fully adjusted and timed and is working very accurately, keeping great time. The inner bellows (dated '73) has just been checked and is in perfect working order. The round Jaeger LeCoultre ATMOS Swiss signed white painted dial, which has applied gold markers & numerals, is in mint condition as are the original black tipped gold hands. The rear bellows housing is in near perfect condition with no scratches or dark spots. The 24k gold plated finish on the exterior is in near mint condition with no notable wear, scratches or damage but there is a 25 year company presentation plaque on the back from 1973. There are no stress fractures on the corners of the base. All of the fixed glass panels, including the top lucite panel are clean with no chipping or scratches and the front removable glass door, which as the original sticker, has no chips or damage. The important leveling bubble in the front base is fine and functions properly. I've owned, restored and have sold quite a few of these beautiful Atmos clocks and this a beautiful round dialed example that anyone would be proud to display in their home. Upon receipt, if it's not working correctly as stated, please contact me and we can arrange for you to send it back to me for repair. I do all the restoration work myself! If it cannot be repaired in a reasonable amount of time, I will arrange for a prompt refund. I cannot be expected to issue a refund based on buyer's remorse, so please know what you're offerding on and what you're comfortable paying. Contact me for shipping rates for this heavy item. I closely estimate $50-$100 for shipping and secure double boxed packaging. This is my cost and I do not charge for packaging materials which do cost me money. I will send an invoice to the winning buyer right after the sale. It will include United States Postal Service "USPS" Priority shipping cost with insurance if shipped to United States destinations. Items shipped to International destinations will be shipped safely via USPS International Priority airmail insured.
