This clock is a truly beautiful antique 19thc French gilt spelter classical figural mantle clock with a superb case which looks stunning wherever it is displayed with its refinished gilt finish to the spelter caseThe case features a classical seated on a chair lady figure top with various implements decorating the clock including the lady is feeding a bird which is sat on top of the chairThe case is in great condition with no damage with its spelter case having been refiniseh at some stage with only minimal age wear exactly how you want to see itThe clock features a high quality white enamel porcelain dial with roman numerals. The dial is in excellent condition for age with no damage and is signed by retailersThe movement is also of high quality being an 8 day bell striking movement which strikes the bell on the half and full hours counting the hours on the hour. The case features a classical seated on a chair lady figure top with various implements decorating the clock including the lady is feeding a bird which is sat on top of the chair
The case is in great condition with no damage with its spelter case having been refiniseh at some stage with only minimal age wear exactly how you want to see it
