We have here a beautiful hand carved antique Chinese soapstone double vase.

The vases are on each side and are elegantly etched with vines and thistles. There are hand carved thistles and leaves set between the two vases.

There is so much attention to detail in this work of art, each leaf has the heart and veins carved, and the flower petals look realistic!

The back is smoothed out with no carvings or etches, except for a hand etched CHINA on the bottom left side.

The bottom has remnants of plastic and glue, the person before us used felt pads on the bottom. Most of it I have cleaned off, but not all of it.

There are no visible chips or cracks thatI can find, and I did a good look over. The only thing this vase needs is a good cleaning, its quite dusty!

The attention to detail on this is amazing. The flowers are not only carved on the outside, its a 3D carving and you can look in and see the amazing craftsmanship it took to create this!

The vases measure about 4\" tall, one has aslanted top, so it is 3\" on one side of the vase, and they are 2 3/4\" wide. All together with the carving its 10 1/2\" wide, and just under 7 1/4\" at its highest point.

This is a heavy piece too, but with free shipping you don\'t have to worry about it!!
