This is a stunning early French mother of pearl and silk hand fan with lovers in a rural scene hand painted on the silk. There is a small signature under the young lady which I think reads. A. Le louter

Fan is in good condition for its age with no missing pieces and no cracks in the mother of pearl. The silk does have some water damage on it unfortunately but it really doesn\'t take anything away for how lovely the fan is.
