You are offerding on a beautiful example of one of Roland Ward\'s masterpieces. It is a crystal decanter featuring an engraved scene of ducks in flight. The detail on this piece is amazing. The trees, grass, water etc. are all perfectly done.This decanter and stopper are in excellent condition with no chips. The stopper and bottle have matching numbers. The engraving is in great condition as well. The bottle does have some clouding on the base and could use a good cleaning. It stands approximately 8.75 inches in height including the stopper. The bottle itself is 7.75 inches to the top of the neck. It is 3 3/8 inches in diameter at the base.It comes from the estate of Irving Cowan, and the late Marjorie Friedman Cowan of Hollywood Florida. The Cowans were breeders and owners of Thoroughbred horses, including the Breeder\'s Cup winners Wildcat and War Chant. They were also the former owners of the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood Florida.I recently acquired this and several other vintage and antique pieces at an estate sale.
