Exquisite! Late 1970's Jaeger LeCoultre ATMOS Round Dial Mantel Clock! Working!

ITEM DESCRIPTION

Offered here is a near mint all original and fully functioning late1970's Jaeger LeCoultre *528-8* ATMOS Round Dial Mantel Clock, serial number 478,630. *Note: Any reflections you see on the finish are just background and sun reflections and not wear. The mint 15 jewel Jaeger LeCoultre signed movement (528/1) has just been fully disassembled & cleaned, adjusted and timed by me and is working very accurately, keeping great time. The inner bellows (dated '77) has just been checked and is in perfect working order. The unusual round ATMOS Swiss signed white painted dial, which has applied gold markers & painted Roman numerals, is in mint condition as are the original gold hands. The rear bellows housing is in mint condition with no dark spotting, scratches or cracks. The 24k gold plated finish on the exterior is in near perfect condition with no bad scratches or wear whatsoever. There are only a few negligible scratches on the top of the frame and two minor stress fractures on the right rear of the base, that all there is to note. All of the fixed glass panels, including the top lucite panel, are clean with no chipping or scratches and the original front removable glass access panel is damage free. The important leveling bubble in the front base is fine and functions properly. I've owned, restored and have sold quite a few of these beautiful Atmos clocks and this a perfect round dialed example that anyone would be proud to display in their home. I guarantee your clock to be exactly as described and even if noted as working great or recently serviced, please understand that, due to the sometimes delicate nature of these vintage Atmos clocks, periodic servicing and/or adjustments may be required. Upon receipt, if it's not working correctly as stated, please contact me and we can arrange for you to send it back to me for repair. I do all the restoration work myself! If it cannot be repaired in a reasonable amount of time, I will arrange for a prompt refund. I cannot be expected to issue a refund based on buyer's remorse, so please know what you're offerding on and what you're comfortable paying. Contact me for shipping rates for this heavy item. I closely estimate $50-$100 for shipping and secure double boxed packaging. This is my cost and I do not charge for packaging materials which do cost me money. I will send an invoice to the winning buyer right after the sale. It will include United States Postal Service "USPS" Priority shipping cost with insurance if shipped to United States destinations. Items shipped to International destinations will be shipped safely via USPS International Priority airmail insured.
