Beautiful Napoleonic 18th - Early 19th C. English Cavalry Officer's Rapier Sword:

Beautiful English cavalry officer's rapier, wearing a thick single edged blade retaining most of its fine blued and gilt decorations with etched floral panels in between, the one third of the tip area of the blade is in nice original steel finish, several light battle marks to the edge. Gilt brass hilt and scabbard mounts with a large heart shape guard and silver wire grip. All intact and solid, with original wooden scabbard having replaced leather.
