Offered is this old RW Bavaria Fruit Bowl with pierced sides. Features a still life of fruit and flowers in the bowl (raspberries and gooseberries) and has a gold transfer edge around that image with a dark green background. There is evidence that gold accent lines were added between the piercings on the side, but these are mostly worn away. One of the most unusual elements of this piece is a built-in hanger (part of the porcelain) on the back. 8 1/4 inches in diameter. Marked by maker on back. In excellent condition with little to no wear on the fruit image and no chips or cracks or repairs found on the piece, itself.
