Beautiful Pair 18th C. Oil Canvas Cupid Putti Angel Paintings Early Gilded Frame:

A pair of oil paintings of putti. These pieces feature putti with bows in the style of amorini, or as infant Cupids. One painting depicts the figure in flight, and the other seated, aiming their bow toward the upper right corner. There are delicately rendered clusters of flowers surrounding the figures. The pieces are unsigned. These paintings are presented in elaborate cream-colored gesso frames with gold tone detailing, and hanging hardware to the verso.

These are wonderful painting but I want to make sure you understand condition issues. These very early paintings have staining and dirt throughout both pieces; frames are cracked and chipped. The very early artwork has cracked and flaked off multiple areas of both paintings; discoloration to varnish; holes and dents to both; minor tear to “flying putti” painting.

Each overall is 10.25\" W x 15.5\" H x 1.0\" Deep. The framed image is 8.0\" W. × 13.75″ H.
