Description A superb rare English antique solid sterling silver\"double\" stamp case by the silversmiths Ahronsberg Brothers and with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1905.Excellentqualityoriginal Edwardian 112 year old silver example, has a slide-action opening and is complete with its original genuine semi-precious turquoise stone button. Beautifully engraved and still has its original gilt-lined interior.There are no added engraved personal inscriptions or monograms. Complete with 2 genuineKing George V half penny stamps.

MeasurementsMeasures approx. 2.1 inches (53mm)x 1.5 inches (38mm) and is 3mm deep.

Date English antiqueEdwardian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1905(date letter \"f\"). Marks slightly rubbed but are readable and there is also a further clear hidden set of hallmarks under the lid. It also has a \"Patent\" stamp.

Maker Silversmith initials \"A Bros\" (Ahronsberg Brothers).

ConditionExcellent condition,with nosplits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs, definitely no wear/pin holes and no nasty knocks or dents, a beautiful more uncommon decorative example. The slide-action lid opens and closes perfectly and the genuine semi-precious turquoise lid button is original. As a bonus there are no added engraved initials or monograms in the cartouche.Direct from a private estate.
