Beautiful Vintage 1980s CARTIER Art Deco Glass Crystal Ashtray:

When I washed the dust offthis and another clear glass ashtray I had purchased, this one shined so much morebrightly in the light, flashing rainbows, diamond-like. It became very obviousthat this ashtray lived up to the high quality reputation of Cartier jewelryand watches.

Although this ashtray is in excellent shape, it’s not perfect, butthe blemishes are extremely tiny. I’ve taken a closeup photo of each of thethree corners. The first is perfect.The next two have mini fleabites that I only spotted with a 10-power eyepiece. Beforesomeone asked me about it, I also wanted to mention the line of little circlesyou see in the last photo. It is NOT a scratch. The circles are tiny bubblesand solid particles embedded in the glass during the original manufacture.

Neitherof these minor imperfections detracts from the overt beauty of the piece. The“Cartier” hallmark is etched into the bottom. Measures 3.25” across andabout 1.25” tall. Please examine the photos closely and email any questions.
