Postage & Packing
I am always happy to combine postage. I tend to charge P&P at Cost plus 10-15% (a little more on smaller items or where lots of packing is required) to cover packaging materials & other charges. With the new Royal Mail Parcel 2013 rates I will be sending most items in the UK by courier unless they are under 1kg and fit into a box 16x16x16cm or 45x32x8cm for which I will be charging £3.20. Larger items upto 1kg will be £4.00, up to 2kg £5.00 and up to 5kg £6.00. If the items have a value of over £30 and upto £100 an additional £2.22 may be added for insurance. There may also be a surcharge for delivery to the Islands and Highlands. I will still happily send an item by any of the Royal Mail services if you prefer (Standard,Confirmed,Special Delivery) so please just let me know and I will provide a quote. International items under 2kg will still be sent via Royal Mail, in fact it is now cheaper to send some items to Australia than it is to the UK when using Royal Mail. I will quite happily post most items overseas but if I have not already provided international prices please ask me for postage costs before offerding.
I may not post to Italy but Italian buyers can arrange their own delivery if they want to.
I do try to recycle boxes and other materials wherever possible and will sometimes use newspaper for padding out, if it does not have any impact on the cost of postage.
