Featuring a deep serpentine shaped crest and seat rail, each have crisp deep flower and scroll carvings. The craftsmanship is outstanding. The crest rail does have a repair on the right side that appears to be very sturdy(photo 8), not really noticeable ~ just a wrinkle that comes with age. The back is nicely tufted. The 90\'s flame stitch fabric(the apology) is in fair condition, there is fading but no rips or tears. Imagine this sofa covered in a beautiful Cranberry velvet or other Victorian color. This sofa is a diamond in the rough, just waiting for your personal touch.
