For saleis a fantastic monkey figurine designed and manufactured by the world famousart Potter Bernard Moore from hisStoke on Trent studio.
Itis produced in one of his experimental deep maroon red glazes and takes the form of a seated monkey wearing a waistcoat.
It has strange almost scary eyes, which would appear to be over painted opaque glass beads.
Moore's work was only produced for a ten year period between 1905 and 1915 and is therefore not often found on the open market, making this a rare opportunity to add to your collection.
Additional decoration would appear to have been carried out by Hilda Lindop.Condition Report

Size 10.7cm (4.25 inches) in height.
