Mid-CenturyModern Bentwood Wall Mounted Mirror

c. 1950s - possibly earlier

Great looking and good sized modernist wooden mirror. The mirror is constructed from a blonde wood ( beech / oak or similar ) which has that lovely mellow patina you only get with age. The deep surround / frame has a slightly angled incline from the outer edge to the mirror. The original fittings for hanging suggest its to be hung portrait and the back is finished in wood. Very, very heavy and well made

Offered in lovely vintage condition with signs of age as might be expected. As shown there is some misting / cloudy patches to the mirror in places and the wooden frame displays with minor wear and a few small marks here and there. This to my mind does little if anything to spoil and only adds.
