For your consideration, Design #5610 by Blenko's designer Wayne Husted. This stunning Mid Century pitcher is Blenko's Sea Green color and designed for the 1956 Blenko Catalog. This pitcher was created by the Blenko Glass Company, located in Milton, West Virginia. Wayne Husted was the company's designer from 1952 to 1963. Another of our beautiful pieces by Wayne Husted. We have a many of his designs because we buy what we love. The collectors call this one the "elephant" pitcher. The pitcher is 6.5 inches tall and it measures about 8.5 inches across. It has Blenko's usual pontil on the bottom. This pitcher is in very good, used condition. Usual air bubbles as typical of Blenko's piece. No cracks or breaks. No water sickness or residue. Shown below is a copy of the page from The Blenko Company's original 1956 Catalog, which depicts the pitcher. Sorry, other designs pictured not for sale.
