Bleuette Deposé Jumeau 11” JN Brown HH Wig Hand Blue/Grey PPW Eyes – NEW – Artist: Leslie Perkumas

This is a gorgeous Deposé Jumeau handmade and hand painted by internationally known, award winning doll artist, Leslie Perkumas. This doll is Bleuette’s French cousin. Her silky human hair French wig is rich brown and falls from a center part into flowing waves to below her waist. Ordinarily, Leslie pins wigs in place, but with the center part, She did glue this wig on to keep the part in place. She has soulful blue-grey paperweight eyes made by Hand Glass of England, which are known for their great beauty and depth. Her delicate porcelain features have pale peach cheeks, outlined lips and nose and eye dots. She has subtle violet eye shadow on dimensional lids. She has multi-stroke brows, painted upper and lower lashes and a closed mouth with traditional outlines. This sweet-faced Depose Jumeau stands approximately 11" high. She has the Janice Naibert body that is made of composition and wood and is fully jointed. She comes wearing her bloomers. She is hand-signed on her neck by the artist and has Leslie’s personal hang tag.

Note from Leslie: She is entirely handmade by me. I cast the molds, fire the bisque and paint each doll individually with great care. To bring up the coloring, each head is fired ten to fifteen times. Yes, I work very slowly and carefully. Each wig is chosen specifically for the doll’s facial coloring and eyes. I use the best quality materials for each underwear set and shoes. I want every single doll that goes out into the world to be of the highest possible quality, so that their owners find joy in them for years to come. And so I sign and date each doll to affirm the love that went into her creation and inherent sweetness.
