Bleuette Lady Margaret Jn Ppw 11" Doll Reproduction Candy Anderson For Sale
Lady Margaret 11” Blond Mohair Blue PPW Eyes MINT -- Bleuette’s German Cousin -- -- -- Artist: C. Anderson
Introducing Margaret also know as Lady Margaret, one of Bleuette’s favorite German cousins. Margaret was painted by award winning doll artisan and instructor, Candy Anderson. Margaret is a German doll, but the artist painted her in the French style in soft mauve and rose tones. Lady Margaret has big blue hard glass PPW eyes, multi-stroke brows, painted upper and lower lashes. Her soft blond mohair wig has lots of beautiful cascading curls. Margaret is wearing a beautiful Victorian drop waist dress in peach silk by Gabriella. She has cream color leather shoes and cream-colored crochet socks. Margaret is on a wooden Bleuette fully jointed body from Global. She is perfect – MINT and has never been displayed!
Special Note: Lady Margaret, a very beautiful German doll, has the look of a French doll of the 19th century, and was probably made for the French market. Unfortunately, she remains clouded in mystery, as there is not much information available about her. She is marked with the number 136 on the back of her neck originally and that is all. We do know that she was made as either a fashion ladydoll or a child doll. We also know that she is gorgeous.
