Bleuette SFBJ 251 11” 1922 Global Wood Brown Mohair Brown PPW Lilac Suit MINT Artist: C. Anderson
This little innocent faced and wide-eyed SFBJ 251, is a reproduction of the 1922 Bleuette known as Benjamine and was made from that mold. She is beautifully captured in this reproduction by award winning doll artisan and instructor, Candy Anderson. She is 11” tall and is on an 11-jointed Global wooden body. The SFBJ 251 was produced from 1922 to 1933. This little girl has the sweetest expression on her face. She looks so eager!!!! She has multi-stroke brows, painted lower lashes and applied mohair upper lashes. She was considered Bleuette’s little sister. Her brown mohair wig has wispy bangs and masses of curls. She has dark brown PPW glass eyes and inset hand carved porcelain teeth. She is wearing a Peplum GL 1922 two piece suit in lilac. It closes with 3 lilac buttons. The outfit is completed with a wide lilac silk hair ribbon. There crocheted socks and ivory leather ankle strap shoes. She is signed on the back of her head. She is darling. She is mint and has never been displayed.
