Bleuette Sfbj 301 Silver Jn Ppw Doll Reproduction Margaret Ann Wolfe:
Bleuette SFBJ 301 Silver 11” Wood Red Mohair Antique Blue PPW Eyes MINT Artist: Margaret Ann Wolfe
Here is a gorgeous SFBJ 301 Silver Bleuette. The SFBJ was produced from 1907 to 1915. Carmela has been entirely handmade by Margaret-Anne Wolfe. Margaret-Anne is an internationally recognized artist, Judge and Doctor of Dollmaking. Bleuette is 11” tall on an 11 piece fully articulated French wooden body. She has been cast from a Seeley mold known as Silver, in Bell's Blue/White porcelain and fired to a beautiful translucent finish. Her features have been painted with the utmost of care to make her as close and authentic as her antique counterpart. The eyelashes and brows are correctly placed being careful to give them the right angle as on the antique. The mouth has been painted with one layer of pretty intense pompadour red to give her a more realistic look. Bleuette wears a long soft curled red mohair wig, which can be restyled. She is fitted with a wonderful rare find a pair of antique hand-blown blue glass eyes. Her top eyelid is rimmed with a very delicate row of mohair lashes, and the lower ones are painted straight down, as were her antique counterpart. She has four teeth, which have been inset from behind. She also wears cameo type rose motif earrings, which are handmade just for her! She is wearing a cute blue sundress with matching handbag and big sunhat for her delicate complexion. She is perfect—MINT – and has never been displayed. (She doesn’t have the hairbow shown in her closeup picture).
