Measures approximately 2.5 in high, 2.5 in opening, girth almost 4.5 in Blue Corn is best known as a leader in the polychrome revival and for her highly polished surfaces, which she said she achieved by polishing very slowly. In 1981, she was the recipient of the 8th Annual Governor\'s Award (New Mexico\'s highest artistic honor) as \"one of the outstanding ceramic artists of our time.\" Her work can be found in the collections of the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, Santa Fe; the Heard Museum, Phoenix; the White House, Washington, DC; the Smithsonian Institute, Washington, DC.
