This Santos Angel was part of the Santos Cage Doll Collection, exclusively available in the US from our family of stores when we still operated Santos Cage Doll . com (now a Santos archive site only).
She serves as a wonderful centerpiece all season - including of course for the Holidays! This Santo stands firmly yet peacefully on her round pedestal, with brown hair, \'combed\' hair, and she has beautiful brown eyes to match - each complementing her beautiful, fair, bisque-like complexion!
This Mannequin Angel\'s dress is heavenly blue, with her body and skirt both painted and distressed to match. She is made of wood, resin and tin; all chosen for perfect details! Her tin skirt is carefully \'pleated\' and attached to her body. She is articulated at the shoulders and elbows - providing her with limited motion/postures- and her palms are facing up.
This Santos comes complete with (removable) \'gold\' metal wings; see the photos.
She stands approx. 20\" tall, including the attached base.
Shoulder to shoulder - 3.25\" wide.
Wing span: 7 3/4 \".
Head circumference - 5 1/4\".
Base of pedestal - 6\" wide.

Stock photos are provided to illustrate the kind of Santos you will receive. I.e. you will receive a Santos a lot like the one shown, but understand that although these Santos are all made by the same Santero(s), no two are identical - which gives each its unique charm!
Fashioned after the antique European Santos, these Angels are carefully hand crafted. To make the hand painted doll unique, the craftsmen distress it; picking & choosing from a range of faux aging techniques. Variations occur with each handcrafted piece, particularly when being \'antiqued\'. This is character, and not a flaw.
As is common with antiques, as well as with this reproduction Santos, there may be a faint \'split\' visible on/in her chest and/or back; the degree of which varies per Santo. This is where her neck is attached to the body. Traditionally this area is covered with a dress or rosaries (neither are included).
NOTE: Even though UPS Ground is listed as the main carrier option, we also offer Priority Shipping (i.e. USPS), which for some may be cheaper; choose the option that works best for you.
