Dress description: Inspired by late14th-century fashion, this long, full gown is made from a rich, royalblue velvet and is accented with silver-coloredtrim, back lacing, and silver satin lining on the tippets (inthe photos, the satin looks white, but it is indeed a silver/graycolor). Theback of the gown laces up (I will include amatching silver cord), and features a fold-over flap under the lacingso if thegown separates behind the laces, your back is not exposed. The sleevesfeaturesatin-lined tippets hanging down from the upper arm and a more fittedlower arm. This gives the look of wearing both an over-and under-dress. The dress is fitted down to the waist and then flaresout from the hips in a voluminous skirt that drapes beautifully. Thevelvet of the dress is a regular, smooth velvet (it is NOT crushed orpanne velvet). In my store, I also carry this gown in other colorcombinations as well as a full range of sizes, including S, M, L,XL/1X, 2X, 3X, & 4X.

*This gownis somewhat flexible in terms of sizing: it is very acceptable to wear amedieval-style belt with it (hanging down from the hips in a V shape).Also, there is a slight give to the velvet it is made from, so it canstretch between sizes if need be.
