Up for offer is a very rare vintage bound volume of "The Home Monthly Magazine." This magazine was devoted to home education, literature and religion. It is Volume XI, and covers January through June, 1865. It was published by Pearson and Jacobs of Boston, Mass. In addition to topical articles, the volume contains 288 gilt-edge pages and features many illustrations, including 10 full-page engravings.One of the engravings is the famous portrait of President Abraham Lincoln and his son Tad. This book is in very good condition, with some foxing.
