This is one of those famous ships bell clocks from Hamberg Germany . The movement is made by Urgos . They are best known for thier wall clocks and grandfather clocks . Thie clock runs strong and rings the watch bells on time and correct. There is a key to wind it once a week, not the original but it works .The finish is good for it's age and the dial is excellent . It's mounted on a nice golden oak plaque . It has a nice feature were as if the time gets out of sink with the correct number of bells you can advance the bells to be in sink with the time by moveing the leve up on the left of the dial (#9) pos. It's cool feature no other ships bell clock movement has it .
