You are looking at a NEW solid BRASS & ceramic light bulb socket. This is solid brass: a magnet does not attach to it. Never used. WORKS in USA & all other countries. This fits any standard size regular screw in light bulb. 120 volts or 100v or 220v. 4 amps maximum bulb. 2 inches long by 1 1/2 inch wide with 3/8 inch diameter threaded female end to accept lamp pipe. The cap has 3/8" threaded hole to screw onto standard 1/8" IPS steel pipe. Set screw ison top cap end to tighten. Or just run your electric cord out of the end hole to ceiling.

Size in metric: 25 mm inside diameter for where bulb screws in. 9 mm for top female thread. Outside diameter of brass is 37 mm (this is the very widest part of the entire brass socket). Outside diameter of white porcelain is 40 mm.

The yellow glass shade/light bulb & 2 1/4" shade fitter are NOT included, only shown for example to give you an idea how this could be used. You receive a NEW E26 solid brass light bulb socket shown in first 7 photos.

How can you use this? One way is to use as a hanging pendant light. Either use vintage style 2 strand cloth covered cord like I have in stock in my other listing, or use wire of your choice. Screw in standard size light bulb and presto ! you have a wonderful accent light for your special space. Other ways to use this is in a table lamp project, or placed in a show/ bookcase.
