If you offer, you'll be offerding on this set of two Fighting Mustang Stallions. Both are free-standing and stand well on their own. Because they are free-standing, you can set them up in any position you choose. Photos show a few ideas.

Both stallions started off as Breyer's Semi-Rearing Mustang, but both were tweaked enough to look different from one another.

Blue roan Appaloosa stallion had a total head reconstruction that includes a very detailed mouth (teeth, tongue, ribbed roof, etc.). He has a new neck and most legs were somewhat repositioned. All four hooves were carved to look more realistic. Stallion parts were made more refined. Ears were carved out along with a few ear hairs inside at the base. He also has a new mane and tail. For the most realism, each individual hair was hand-painted. His eyes were painted with no less than 6 different colors. Since wild Mustangs don't receive farrier care, the hooves were made to appear to have a few cracks and splits in them.

Chestnut sabino stallion had the same type of work done to him, but his body was also made to bend (at the spine) slightly to the right, to match his overall position of leaning in to try and bite the other horse. He, like the Appaloosa, has a very detailed mouth. One gal who saw him in person mentioned how she could "age" the horse because she could see the cups and Galvayne's Groove as well as the angle. Although the chestnut leans to one side quite a bit, I was sure to make his weight balanced so he stands well on his own. He, too, has his hooves made to appear as if they have cracks and splits.

Both horses were sealed with a protective matte finish. Their eyes, nostrils and insides of mouths were glossed.

Please study the photos carefully for a better description. Nearly all of my work has been considered LSQ and most of my CMs that have been shown qualified for NAN. Many of those that went to NAN received Top Ten. This set of Fighting Mustang Stallions will come with a COA.
