Wilson Gnome being hand painted at the factory
This gnome portrays Wilson in his classic pose with his arms crossed after saving a game. He isdepicted wearing his controversial Nikeorange baseball shoes.During the All Star gamein 2010,Brian was supplied by MLB with orange cleats. He wore the same shoes to a game on July 28th and was fined $1,000 after Marlin's manager Edwin Rodriguez complained that the shoes "were too bright, too flashy".Wilson's clever reaction was to fill in half of the shoewith ablack Sharpie for his next save opportunity.
Wilson's response when interviewed aftersaving the game was gnomical. "I'm surprised he hasn't asked for these to be drug-tested for performance-enhancing cleats, because apparently they throw 97 to 100 with cut if you put them on and the ball magically disappears". Wilson truly is the most interesting man in the world.

Historically gnomes originate in 19th century Germany, where they became known as Gartenzwerg (literally "garden dwarf"). They were placed in gardens to protect from evil sorcery. (Source - Wikipedia)

SplashHit is a blog founded by Larry Ellison of Fairfield, California. Larry is famous for having retrieved back to back Barry Bonds milestone home runs (660 & 661) in his kayak on Opening Day and Opening Night in 2004. Larry also designs and sells unique baseball products for fans everywhere.
Note: This Larry Ellison is NOT the same Larry Ellison who is the eccentric billionaire founder and CEO of Oracle Corporation in California. Consequently this Larry Ellison is not able to provide donations for worthy causes or investment capital. If this Larry Ellison was the other Larry Ellison he would be generous like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet and donate billions every year.
Good luck in trying to reach the other Larry Ellison. If by chance you are successful then please let this Larry know so he can try to get a ride on the other Larry's corporate jet or better yet on his racing yacht during his defense of the America's Cup in San Francisco in 2012-2013.
This Larry Ellison was once confused by the media of being the other Larry Ellison after he retrieved milestone homeruns. People who know the other Larry Ellison realize how ridiculous this mistaken identity was.
This Larry Ellison later participated in a roast in Oracle's internal magazine "Oracle Suites" comparing their Larry Ellison with him. While both Larry's are about the same age, were adopted by a man with a last name of Ellison, sold software, like boats, are San Francisco Giants fans; that is where the similarities end.
