Bridge City Tool Works Ct-6 Hand Drill Original Prototype For Sale
The Museum of Contemporary Craft is presenting the exhibition, “Quality is Contagious, John Economaki and Bridge City Tool Works” which opens August 15th, in Portland, Oregon.
In preparing for the exhibition we found several dozen interesting artifacts and prototypes from our 30 years in business and we are cleaning the shelves. Not the least of which is the original prototype of the CT-6 Commemorative Hand Drill.
This prototype is identical to the production version with the exception of the color. It is the only existing tool of its type, is completely functional and signed by John Economaki. For those that collect tools, this is perhaps the finest hand drill ever produced in America. The main gear is investment cast bronze and works like no other hand drill. The plane is slightly used. No major imperfections, just minor tarnishing and wear. The CT-6 drill comes with a signed letter from John stating its authenticity.
We are parting with these items because the museum publication which accompanies the exhibition is now our defacto “archive” and we are excited to reclaim the space for more productive Buyers – Please Note:
