British Paratrooper Denison Smock, Ww2, Extra Large, Parachute Smock, Arnhem For Sale
British Paratrooper Denison Smock, WW2, Extra Large, label faded, cannot make out a date, manufacturer name or sizes. Smock has been altered in length and width to fit a smaller person, measures 130cm (51 inches) around the chest, under the arm, sleeves are 70cm (27.5 inches) from shoulder to cuff, and back is 73cm (28.5 inches), but the fold over, where it has been taken in, is 10cm (4 inches) in length, and 32cm (12.5 inches) in width. The material has just been folded over and sewn and can easily be let out to make the smock larger again. The South African Post
Office does not insure parcels to all countries and only registers items up to
a certain size and weight.
There is a maximum
Insured amount for each country, please check with me if you want to find out
the maximum for your country.
If a parcel is lost
the Post Office will pay out for Insured items but does not cover the postage, just
the declared insured value of the parcel.
Please note that I
post all Orders with a tracking number, never without, and thus have proof of
every parcel posted. All parcels will have to be signed for when they arrive,
no exceptions.
I cannot be held
liable for a parcel lost in the post. Once I have handed the parcel to the Post
Office and have received a Registered or Insured receipt from them, it is their
responsibility for safe delivery.
All parcels can be
tracked on this website http://www.trackmyparcel.co.za/ or Type in the tracking number, just leave off
the “ZA” at the end of the number.
I do not charge for my
time in packaging parcels and taking them to the Post Office like some dealers,
that is part of the service. I also do not charge you more than what the Post
Office charges me for postage. I do charge for packaging materials but try to
keep all the postage and packaging costs as low as possible.
Air Mail parcels take about
a week to ten days and Surface Mail parcels about two to three months to
arrive. In November and December, over the Christmas period, the parcels may
take longer to arrive due to the increase in the amount of post being sent.
The Post Office
increases their rates on the 1st of April every year.
Thanks for looking.
