Here we have an original British WW1 Naval Officer's Dirk made by Gieves of London. Engraved blade on both sides. The Dirk has a steel scabbard instead of the trasitional leather one...not sure if this was a service expediant modification? The Dirk has a crude number stamp (3404) on the spine of the blade which makes us believe the steel scabbard may actually have been in service with the dirk at some point in its history. Good overall condition. The Blade measures 17 3/4" and 28 1/4" when seated end-to-end. Winner receives professional packaging, air expedited shipping and full online tracking. Pictures below.
