Browning Drake Regenaformer Breadboard Radio-3 Tube For Sale
A reproduction National Regenaformer radio built in 1985 using original and period parts- This was built to be like a Browning Drake 3 tube kit radio circa 1925- Has Browning Drake coils and tuner assys.-3 tubes -UV199 (good filament)--2 UV201 BBT -1 amp type-(open filament)- Hardwood base 24 x 7 1/2--3/4 thick-small tube socket is Remler-2 large sockets are porcelain --cannot make out name- Bradleystat rheostat--meter by Weston--interstage trans. by General-checks good- All controls work freely--center large knob has a chip out of the center-no rust or corrosion on parts- AS you can see by the photos construction is first class-that includes wiring and soldering- This was built (not by me ) from plans in an issue of QST--April 1925- This radio has won some ribbons (included 2)-1st ARCA 1991-3rd AWA 1985-1st NFWA- Overall a very nice looking radio--radio itself weighs 9 lb. 5 oz.- As to working I have never tried it-but should work with a good set tubes- S&H 22 lbs. from 14757 USPS Parcel Select
