This Byers Choice caroler was exclusively made for a store in Lahaska, PA called Truffles. It is called the \"Village Peddler\" and is dated 1997. Only a limited quality were made and they are seldom for sale. I visited the store since you could not buy him any other way. He is dressed in red and black checkered pants, a black jacket, red scarf, and a black hat. He carries a wicker basket with a handle on his arm filled with bolts of fabric. The Peddler also comes with his horse, which includes a broom, bell, the peddler\'s pack, bucket, pail and assorted utensils. A red cardinal is his pack. The horse is made of leather on the exterior. They both would add to your Holiday decorating especially if you have other carolers.As with all my carolers, he has been stored in a pet free and smoke free home. He is in excellent condition.
