C. 1900 Tiny Star Cast Iron Toy Stove, Shimer, Nickel-plated, Antique:
This tiny cast iron toy stove was manufactured c. 1900 by the William Shimer, Son & Company of Freemansburg, Pennsylvania. It measures a mere 2 5/8" tall with the cooktop measuring 3 3/8" by 2 5/8". It is in good condition with no breaks, cracks, or repairs. It retains a great deal of its original nickel-plating and the oven door is marked STAR. All four sides are made of embossed cast iron...there is another version of this stove that has tin sides. There is a small turnkey on the bottom for disassembly...a neat feature of this model. Please feel free to ask additional questions prior to offerding. Buyer to pay $7.00 for USPS Priority Mail shipment. Payment via Paypal is appreciated within three days.
