The story that came with these clothing is that the woman lived in New York and moved to southern California, when she arrived, she decided her clothing was too fancy and stored them away and never wore them again. We don\'t know who she was but she had excellent taste! Please check my other sales for more amazing clothing from this find. This dress is wearable, the silk is in great shape. The dress has some stains though and needs to be pressed (I dare not) One section of pearls in the back has darkened with age.Measured laid flat and doubled.Bust 32, waist 26 (empire), hip 37, length 51.

We include detailed measurements, and it is the buyer’s responsibility to assess whether the article will fit. Please do not go by the marked size alone as some used items may have been taken in or let out and all designers have different ways of sizing. All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat and doubled where appropriate. Measurements are of the clothing and are not your measurements. If you are not sure whether this item will fit, please measure an item that fits you and compare the measurements.
