Up for sale is a Victorian spoon warmer by Martin & Hall, Sheffield and London England. The spooner is in fantastic condition as shown. Any marks are reflections from the camera lens and surroundings. The company entered into the partnership of Martin and Hall in 1854 and in 1866 the firm was converted to an Ltd. The factory was located at Shewsbury Works, Broad St. Park with showrooms in Sheffield and London England. Martin and Hall participated in the 1851 Great Exhibition and the International Exhibition of 1862 along with the Melbourne Exhibition in 1881. We believe the spooner to have been manufactured during the 1860 or latest the 1870's as there is no Ltd. listed on the makers mark. The spoon warmer stands about 4 inches tall and is 8 inches from handle to handle. There are no monograms or dents. No visible repairs and is a very beautiful piece.

This questions does not refer to how you feel about the post office rates but rather did I over charge you, the customer.We do not determine postal rates though I wish we could and many times we pay the extra shipping charges to get the item to the customer faster.

We combine shipping when ever possible but there may be reasons why items can't be combined such as fragile items and heavy objects. We normally ship with in 24 hours of receipt and verification of payment. We ship USPS - Parcel Post unless the purchaser requests other wise in which case additional charges may apply. Insurance is always included in the cost of shipping unless noted.

All sales are final unless item is not as described by misrepresentation. We supply enough pictures so that the buyer can make a decision as to the purchase of the piece. We will supply additional information and pictures if the buyer requests such. We do not believe in Buyers or Sellers Remorse. If we sell an item for less than worth we will still ship as part of our agreement but if you purchase an item we expect you to live up to your part of the bargain. Please ask questions.
