This listing is for beautiful French, circa 1870’s, gilt bronze mounted porcelain mantle clock. The clock measures 12 inches or 30.5 cm high, 7 ½ inches or 19 cm wide, and is 3 inches or 7.5 cm deep.

The clock is quite beautiful and ornate in design for its size. It features an undulating porcelain body which is supported by fancy scrolling gilt bronze mounts. The clock has a blue scale pattern with cartouches of birds, flowers, and bugs. The clock has a porcelain dial with Roman numerals. It is protected by a convex piece of glass in a hinged bronze door. The movement is balance wheel and is an 8 day time only clock. It is marked “ONE 1 ADJUSTMENT 13 THIRTEEN JEWELS CH. POUR FRANCE”, along with the numbers “6754”.

The clock is in very good condition. The clock runs and keeps good time. The gilt bronze mounts are in very good condition and have minor variations to the patina. The face of the dial has 3 hairlines across the face and minor fleanicks around the screw holes on the edges. The clock comes with a key.
