Description

This listing is for an antique 19th century, circa 1880 brass 3 draw collapsible telescope on a tripod stand. The telescope measures as it is seen in the photographs 28 ½ inches or 72.5 cm long. On the tripod it measures 18 1/2 inches high. The objective lens measures 1 3/4 inches or 43 mm across.

The telescope has excellent optics. The instrument has its original lacquer with minor age appropriate wear. Everything is in fine working condition. A nice antique scientific instrument that is both beautiful in form and practical for use.
