C1899 Seth Thomas No. 2 Regulator Wall Clock Parts Or Restore For SaleThis c1899 (dated on back of case) Seth Thomas No. 2 Regulator Wall Clock will need some help. This desirable model is well worth some time and effort. The clock is missing its weight, dial, seconds hand and dial glass. The clock retains its original finish. The wood bezel has a few sections that will need to be reglued and it is missing a small piece on the bottom section. The bezel is solid and retains its original metal glass retainer ring. The metal dial on the clock is from a newer No. 2 with a replacement paper dial on it and this dial does not line up with the second hand shaft on the movement. A proper size dial will be needed. The original movement is running but looks dirty. It is complete with its mounting bracket and suspension spring. The backboard where the movement mounts appears to have plugs or filler but they do not go through the backboard (see photo). The pendulum rod has been repaired and will most likely need replacing. It is complete with its original bob. The original pendulum door glass is nice and wavy. Note the old style pendulum indicator. The clock retains its inside label though hard to read (see photo). The back of the case is dated 1899 and there is also a tag with the name Landlith Tower (Railroad or Train Station?). The clock is approximately 36" high x 15 3/4" wide x 5 1/2" deep. Please use all of the photo enhancement features to help you evaluate the clock. This clock will restore nicely! Like all the clocks we sell it is being sold as as found. Buyer to pay $35.00 S&H. Inc. Ins. U.S. Lower 48 States only.
