It is a WONDERFUL OLD C1910 WMF ART NOUVEAU COMPORT or TAZZA. I have left it just as I found it as it really needs to be cleaned properly. Amazingly it retains the ORGINAL CRYSTAL serving tray-these are so often broken or lost. This one has survived remarkably well with just 2 very shallow rim flakes & some light scuffing inside that should polish out. It is beautifully cut with a period patterm. As you can see the base has not been cleaned in a very long time. I do not know how well it will polish up which is why I have left it to an expert to do. The feet are interconnected by 8 very thin strands-2 of which have broken & need repair(amazing it is 2 joints given how fragile they are). Various markings as per the photos including the shape number 738 although I could not find another when I looked. The tray part measures 263mm in diameter. PLEASE note that I am not an expert on this type of thing though. Your comments would be welcomed & added to the listing. Approx 1361g unpacked. Approx 252mm in height.
