C1920S PERSIAN ISFAHAN SILVER DECANTER BOTTLE & UNDER TRAY
This listing is for an early 20th century Persian Isfahan silver decanter and under tray. The decanter measures 13 ¼ inches or 33.5 cm high to the top of the lid. The tray measures 7 by 11 ¼ inches or 18 by 28.5 cm. Together the pieces weigh 663.9 grams or 21.38 troy ounces.
The decanter has a round stepped foot, the body has an undulating shape with a flared rim and matching lid. Around the body are bands of repousse work with intricate floral and geometric patterns, the tray is similarly decorated. Both the tray and decanter are marked with the silver standard mark and a makers mark. There is also another mark which I was not able to identify. Please see photos.
