C1920s Seth Thomas Regulator No. 4 Mahogany Case 77d Movement 12" Dial 42" High For SaleI am pleased to offer this c1920s Seth Thomas Regulator No. 4 with a mahogany case for sale. This large 42" high wall clock has a 12" dial and a 77D weight driven movement. I will describe this hard to find clock as I see it. The clock appears to be in original condition. The mahogany case has darkened and is alligatored but still looks nice when hanging on the wall. As should be expected on an antique clock, it has some dings and imperfections that do not detract. The original door glass is nice and wavy. The signed Seth Thomas painted dial has some very minor wear but for an original painted Seth Thomas dial it is excellent! The Seth Thomas signed 77D weight driven movement is running and keeping time and is complete with its original weight. The pendulum bob has some minor nicks but is still excellent. The pendulum rod, though old, may or may not be original. The clock retains both of its original door locks, pendulum indicator and the four spacer blocks on the back of the case. On the inside bottom of the case there is a repair label or dealer sticker from Anthony Montefusco of Fair Lawn, N.J. dated Jan. 20,'76 and a card stating that the clock is from Edgewater Borough Hall. This large Seth Thomas Wall Regulator is approximately 42" high x 18 1/4" wide x 7 1/4" deep. Please use all of the photo features to help you evaluate this uncommon wall clock. The Regulator No. 4 is much harder to find than the commonly found Seth Thomas No. 2 Model and these No. 4s seldom come up for sale. This clock is being offered at a very low starting price and with ! This is an excellent opportunity to own a Large Seth Thomas Weight Driven Wall Clock at an affordable price. This clock may be of special interest to residents and historians of Edgewater, New Jersey. This is a running clock but like all the clocks we sell it is being sold as as found. This clock is for pick up only and it must be picked up in Ringoes, New Jersey 08551.
