ANOTHER OF THE COLLECTION. THIS ONE IS A YOUNG BLACK MAN, BAREFOOTED, ON THE SIDE OF THE MATCHSTRIKER...IT WAS MADE IN GERMANY BY ERNST BOHNE SOHNE, AROUND 1880...IT IS SIGNED ON THE BOTTOM "623 EBS" AND HAS THE BLUE ANCHOR MARK...PORCELAIN, WITH THE MATCH HOLDER AND STRIKER ON THE CONTAINER BEHIND THE MAN...5-1/4" TALL...IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. SOMETHING ORANGE HAS BEEN SPILLED ON THIS PIECE, BUT WILL COME OFF WITH SOME ELBOW GREASE...I AM CLUMSY, AND WILL LEAVE THE CLEANING TO THE NEW OWNER...GREAT OLD PIECE!
