High qualitywood chisel. Traditional design and construction. Finely ground bevel edge blade.
Fully forged tapered blade with heavybolster.
Blade is unsharpened and has original bevel and edge.
Solid wood handle made from a single piece reinforced at both ends with steel hoops. Allare tight and solid.
Blade has Eye Brand stamp with SCHLIEPER GERMANY 3/4
Blade is in very goodcondition withlight carbon spots from long storage. All steel surfaces are smooth. No pitting or rough spots that could affect cutting performance.
Blade and handle all straight and true.
Handle is tight and solid with no damage.
HandleStill has original Eye Brand red and gold label attached.
Very rare in this condition.
