This is a classic mid-century modern Paolo Soleri (1919-2013) cast bronze bell. Soleri was the architect that designed and built not only the structure of Arcosante but the concept.Arcosanti is located in the high desert north of Phoenix, Arizona.
The bell probably dates from the 1960\'s although they were made later. It features 2 kites; one above the bell and one below.The square maker\'s mark is present. The bell and Flags have the usual patinated bronze finish.The entire bell with links included measures 19\". The chain ads another 15\". The bell itself measures 4\" high x 3\" diameter.
